The NIBCO® bronze Y-strainer protects equipment by filtering solids from flowing liquids in the piping system with the use of a wire mesh straining screen. Y-strainers are installed upstream to protect valves, regulators, and meters, etc. from rust, pipe scale and dirt.
T-221-A - Strainer - Bronze, Wire Mesh Screen, Threaded Ends. The strainer is a "Y" type with a branch angled off the flow path. It features a tapped cap with blow-off plug for screen maintenance. The strainers are equipped with female threaded end connections for easy installation.
