16 Ιουν 2011 · A few years back used to have a 1970 FB with a Boss engine. Took five quarts of oil then to fill the pan and filter. If you have anything different now adjust the figures.
The 302 cubic inch engine was introduced in 1968 to the Mustang and continued to be offered in 1970 although it was largely overshadowed by the newer more powerful engines. The Boss 302 engine continued to be offered in 1970 also.
The 1970 Boss 302 once again featured Ford’s specialty 302 cubic-inch V8. This engine was fitted with a set of specially-tuned Cleveland heads, which were less restrictive than Ford’s standard 302ci heads. The 302’s powerplant was also topped with a 780-cfm Holley four-barrel carburetor.
