The 302 cubic inch engine was introduced in 1968 to the Mustang and continued to be offered in 1970 although it was largely overshadowed by the newer more powerful engines. The Boss 302 engine continued to be offered in 1970 also.

20 Φεβ 2011 · I'm going to change the oil today in a 66 coupe. All I know about the motor is its a 302. What oil viscosity should I use, how many quarts are needed, and what brand oil and oil filter is good for this motor?

23 Δεκ 2009 · Any of the good synthetic oils would be fine (castrol, valvoline, shell, etc.) amsoil, royal purple are nice but expensive. Synthetics do a better job at lubricating surfaces and reudcing friction under varying temperatures.
