5 Απρ 2009 · It may take some fabbing or custom parts, but it's possible. The 2.5's design isn't for massive power. The rotating assembly is heavy, the valves are made to last not for performance, and it's just doesn't have that power of a "rice burning" import.
The 2.5L build is one h*ll of an engine! The engine is designed with a bigger bore and a longer stroke producing more torque and horsepower simply by changing the dynamics of these factors. The 2.5L engine was developed a few years ago.

25 Νοε 2011 · This rebuild was a lot simpler than I originally thought, based on the amount of gaskets that came in the kit. It only required 3 gaskets, 2 O-Rings, and a fuel regulator for the complete build. The entire process took me about 2 hours, without adding the time the parts soaked in carb cleaner.
