  1. 30 Νοε 2013 · first priority is to pull the airbox, throttle bodies reeds and injectors. send the injectors off to be cleaned/checked and inspect/clean the reeds and throttle bodies. Check and adjust the oil pump setting if needed. If it doesn't have filters in the airbox order those and put in.

  3. 13 Δεκ 2010 · My buddy just blew the engine in his Mach Z, I was behind him and all of a sudden there was a ton of smoke. There was antifreeze and oil pissing out. The sled only had 2800 miles on it. We had to tow it 15 miles to the nearest road.

  4. 10 Σεπ 2006 · The fuel mapping in the efi is off somewhat. Somehow it ends up dumping a lot of fuel into the cylinders when it shouldnt be. There was a fuel mapping update in 06 for the 05 and supposedly there is to be another one this winter. This is just all in what I have read up on them.

  5. 7 Αυγ 2023 · It has never had any main issues besides some electrical problem that something kept draining the battery when parked so a workshop made a modification to the keyswitch that when in off position it cuts ALL power to the battery, eliminating any possible drains.

  7. 14 Φεβ 2010 · Here is my take on the Mach Z 1000 SDI. If the sled does not have issues and is driven like a typical trail sled, the amount of maintenance is not huge. The problem is if you do have issues they can be very expensive to resolve if you are not capable of doing most of the maintenance yourself.
