25 Απρ 2007 · I think you'll find that the transmission and primary capacities have changed on the 06-07 Dynas vs 05 and earlier. Dyna's do NOT take 3.5 quarts of engine oil. As far as buying the fluids, buy 3 qts engine oil per bike, 1 qt each for transmission and primary per bike. Don't necessarily use all of it though.

1 Φεβ 2016 · Transmission problems will often manifest as difficulty changing gears whilst underway. Causes can include a bent shift fork, bad bearing on the transmission input or output shaft, or other worn parts.
The most notable ones are CAM tension wearing out, clogged fuel lines, leaking fuel tanks, transmission problems, problems while upshifting and downshifting, overeating, bad regulators, ABS failure, bearings wear and tear, and throttle body connector problems.
16 Σεπ 2018 · I have a 2009 Harley ultra classic bought new in 09. I have had nothing but continual problems with the bearings in the transmission and the primary. They both have been opened up and supposedly repaired 6 times and each time the repair only lasts a short while.
19 Απρ 2010 · I was changing out my oils on my 06 Ultra Classic on the weekend to synthetics and when I emptied the transmission oil (I measured it) it only drained out a shade under 20 oz. I know this bike is to have more than that in the tranny.
