3 Ιαν 2012 · I've always thought that the black hardware looks SO much better (classy versus overly 'blingy') on the Fodera's, versus the gold that seems to be used on the vast majority of those instruments. I also greatly prefer the 'P Bass' symmetrical body style of the Monarch versus the larger 'J Bass' inspired Emperor. Perfect Fodera IMO!!!!
11 Ιαν 2021 · #1. I received this beautiful 5-er on Friday from Sweetwater, and waited until Saturday to open it up and start playing it. It's a wonderful instrument, as you'd expect from Fodera. Fit and finish are top notch, and it's fairly lightweight (9 lbs, 10 oz) for a five string, and balances extremely well with a strap.
