Some one dropped the distributor way off, and instead of pulling it and dropping it back in again, they just rotated the wires ... no biggy.

1 ημέρα πριν · There aqre lots of ways, but this is mine. Pull plugs, rotate until #1 at tdc on compression. You will see that both valves are fully closed. If pulley isn't marked use a big end of a zip tie down the hole to feel for exact tdc. Now follow the firing order as you rotate to next one and next. Be careful not to over-use your wrench.
29 Μαρ 2011 · Install the cap and then the wires following the firing order and cylinder numbering as mentioned previously. This will get the timing close enough to start and fine tune. You don't have to have the #1 wire in the cap tower that is marked #1.
30 Μαΐ 2005 · I am not sure that the firing order is going to determine the rotation of your water pump... Lookin at the motor from the front... the lower hose would vent to the passenger side if it is standard rotation, and the reverse rotation lower hose goes to the driver's side.
