1 Φεβ 2022 · It fixed my code 2BEA (Mixture Control Too Lean), but didn't fix the 28A0 code. Replaced crankshaft seal and no more 28A0 (after adaptations), but received code P112F. Replaced oil pan gasket and no more code P112F (which I think is a phantom code of 28A0).

28 Οκτ 2018 · A DTC error code does not identify a failed part but identifys a symptom that may be caused by any number of failed components or adjustments that are to be differentiated by execution of a BMW Test Plan© guide through the fault tree.
27 Δεκ 2021 · I knew most of the codes were pertaining to a bad Valve Cover and a few miss-fires. Replaced VC and all spark plugs and coils. Cleared all codes but 28A0 . I could start the engine and it would idle at 1500 RPM, then drop down to 600-500 RPM and want to stall. Not drivable.
I pulled the Code from Carley as "0028A0 throttle angle - intake manifold absolute pressure, comparison, pressure too high". Most of the research I did seemed to indicate issues with a tune, but my car is entirely stock.
The 28A0 error is gone! I reset adaptations, and the error went away! Edit: I followed the bulletin from u/PandaMoney55: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2019/MC-10163029-9999.pdf
BMW Service replaced the MAF sensor, and checked the fuel pump which was fine. They smoke tested the engine several times but could not find any leaks. They concluded it must be the camshaft bearing cap wear issue.
3 Μαΐ 2017 · Very rough idle--Code 28A0 Throttle valve opening angle-intake pipe absolute pressure, comparision pressure too high. Just replaced a filthy air filter-looks like original, cleaned charge pipe an throttle body.
