We would like to get there from Athens (so no flights to other cities) and don't want to spend a ton of time in transit. That said we would like an island which feels like an escape, has lots of charm (we appreciate good food, nice walks, pretty beaches and quaint towns) and we don't like super touristy things.

Answer 1 of 12: We will be in the Istanbul starting May 11th, and we leave from Athens late on the 21st. We are thinking May 11-15 in Istanbul, 16-18 on some Greek Island, and then Athens 19-21st. Which Greek island would anybody recommend for 2-3 days?
