But 300 is one of those exceptionally racist films produced by mainstream Hollywood in recent years. I say this as Snyder's biggest fan and a non white demographic. There's nothing "woke" about this.

300 is a pretty good graphic novel whose visual style is captured in the movie. GoF is one of the finer pieces of historical fiction I have ever read. Pressfield weaves the story so tightly and beautifully, tying the threads of history and fiction together to the point you don't know which is which.
