22 Απρ 2016 · What Is 300 About? When King Xerxes demands that Sparta submit to the power of his Persian Empire, King Leonidas of Sparta finds that he cannot wage war against the empire. As such, he gathers 300 of Sparta’s best soldiers for a personal bodyguard and sets out for a narrow pass called the Hot Gates of Thermopylae.
The best explanation I've heard of the film is that if you took ancient Spartans brought them to the future to make a film about the Battle of Thermopylae, they'd make a shot-for-shot remake of 300. Reply reply
