Students, Faculty, Staff and Affiliates of IU Indianapolis are eligible to purchase permits. Parking and Transportation Services manages multiple lots and garages on campus that require a permit to park. The permit options you have depend on your affiliation with the University. Upload a copy of one of the following documents to verify residency. Please provide a copy of your vehicle registration. Upload a copy of your vehicle's current registration with the Indiana BMV. Vehicle must be registered at this address to receive a parking permit.
Includes ST, STFA, STSP permits. Available to students, faculty, staff, visitors, vendors or contractors, and those with disabilities. Recommended for students who commute to campus or campus housing residents who are not eligible for a CH permit. Allows parking in: *overnight parking is not permitted in any Garage.
Residents of each dwelling (house or apartment) located directly adjacent to City of Indianapolis right of way affected by a Board of Public Works resolution establishing residential permit parking may request such a permit upon an application provided by the Department of Business and Neighborhood Services.
Includes EM-P, EM-PFA, EM-PSP, EM-PSU, EM/RE permits. Available to faculty, staff, and associate instructors. Allows parking in: Any EM-P, EM-S, or ST space; Any garage, including EM-P spaces in garages; Any non 24-Hour, numbered Reserved (R) spaces between 5 p.m. and 7 a.m. weekdays and all day Saturday and Sunday

Parking meters are operational Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sundays are free. In the downtown core area, along Massachusetts Avenue and in Broad Ripple, the rate is $1.75 per hour.
