17 Μαρ 2023 · 1969 Ford 351 Windsor Firing Order. The firing order – 1-3-5-7-2-6-5-4-8 – follows a specific sequence. Starting at the front of the engine, cylinders #1 and #2 fire first (1-3), cylinders #3 and #4 next (5-7), cylinders #5 and #6 after that (2-6), and lastly cylinders #7 and #8 (5-4-8).
Standard 351W oil pump fits correctly even with the 4 bolt front main cap. When initially removing main caps, the caps and block should be deburred before reinstalling.
