A standard Type 3 cylinder can hold a service pressure of 3,600 psi. At AST, Inc, our Type 3 cylinders can accommodate service pressures of 3,600–7,500 psi. The aluminum liner allows these cylinders to hold more volume than other tanks of the same dimensions.
