Someone released a fork of that emulator called Red Viper, and now (29 years after the Virtual Boy launched) there is finally a way to play Virtual Boy games in stereoscopic 3D at full speed. All that’s required is a modded 3DS, the emulator, and the ROMs that you supply yourself.
