I'm shopping for a 60cc and I found a older 3W-60 with side carb, pitts smoke muffler and 4.8 volt ignition. The engine has never been started or installed in a model.
20 Αυγ 2008 · Gas Engines - 3W 60 history? - I was recently given a 3W 60 gas engine that has the carb on the side of the cylinder instead of the back of the crankcase (marked Heindel). I am assuming that this is the older version of the 60i on their website.
4 Μαρ 2017 · My large Corsair ARF with an EME 60 needed about 2 pounds of nose weight, so I'd say go ahead and use the heavier engine.
It is quite possible that the carb is not drawing fuel. Possibly a pinched fuel line, collapsed, etc. Be 100% sure that fuel is getting to the carb. It is also possible that the carb is all cluttered up with crud and junk, and it just needs to be cleaned up and flushed.
