• The engine must not be operated in closed spaces without vacuum extraction. • Use an ignition-off switch in order to stop the engine. • Use our starter (see recommended accessories) or an electrical starter to start the engine.
If you only have Lithium Ion/Poly packs, you can most certainly use a regulator, drop down diode in line to the ignition unit. There is no ill effect if using a regulator, unless the ignition has been changed out to the new IIS ignitions.
10 Σεπ 2011 · 3W-60 "Heindel". This engine was on a 38lb Vailly P-47 and it did fly the plane, however I cannot say how well as I never actually witnessed the flight. It is an older 3W-60K series "Heindel" in almost like new condition. According to Gerhardt at AI it is an excellent engine.
20 Αυγ 2008 · I was recently given a 3W 60 gas engine that has the carb on the side of the cylinder instead of the back of the crankcase(marked Heindel). I am assuming that this is the older version of the 60i on their website. It seems a little heavy for the displacement( about the same as the 70 twin).
