15 Δεκ 2014 · On top of the list you see RAM combinations like "4 x 8GB" or "4 x 4GB" or in general "4 x something" or even "8 x something" meaning they are using 4 or 8 sticks. As you go lower in the list and to the next pages, at the end of the list you ONLY see "1 x something".

30 Ιουν 2016 · Due to an architectural decision made long ago, if you have 4GB of physical RAM installed, Windows is only able to report a portion of the physical 4GB of RAM (ranges from ~2.75GB to 3.5GB depending on the devices installed, motherboard's chipset & BIOS). This behavior is due to "memory mapped IO reservations".
To fix this, follow these steps: Click Start, type msconfig in the Search programs and files box, and then click msconfig in the Programs list. Click to clear the Maximum memory check box, and then click OK. Restart the computer. Check the BIOS settings to see whether the memory remapping feature is enabled.
