9 Νοε 2012 · #1. Hi ! I have a Standard Progress 10" Unilathe and I'd like change the rocking tool post for one four way tool post. The ideal tool post may have a 3" square base and capability to hold 15/16" tools. It could be of very simple construction, I dont need indexing of 15 or 30degrees.
14 Οκτ 2019 · I got around this on the small lathe by grinding a suitable tool to avoid this intereference (picture attached) and on the large lathe by fabricating a tool holder that holds the HSS tool bit at an angle of 15 deg (pic attached).
