I have the 40 meter version that was factory-built (inspected by Hans). It has worked flawlessly and I've made some good contacts with it. As others have mentioned, no AGC is tough, especially when coming across a big signal while wearing earbuds.
29 Μαρ 2020 · Pocket-sized homebrew 40m CW QRPp/QRP transceiver. In May 2019 I activated Mt Dandenong VK3/VC-025 with my latest homebrew rig. It was a CW only activation, five QSOs completed, but while I was handing out 599s, the reports coming back to me from the chasers were well down.
Most people who want to have a good DX signal on 40m but can't afford a beam, turn to a quarter-wave vertical. Though I often do that too, whenever I can, I put up something better; a 40m delta mono-loop.
2 Φεβ 2022 · Breadboard Radio has just released the 40 Woodpecker, a 40 meter low power CW transceiver for the 40 meter band. The Woodpecker features a crystal controlled transmitter with a 500 milliwatt output. The transmitter provides sidetone, receiver muting and QSK with delay.

21 Ιουν 2020 · The MFT’s are for 20 and 40 mtrs and do DSB (double side band). I did put them in a not-so-graceful box but they do what they are intended for which is QRP phone (SSB).
19 Μαρ 2020 · Here is my complete portable QRP station (for 40 meters) set up on a table on my back patio. At the top is a 3.3 ah SLA gel-cell battery, to the left is the T1 tuner, the completed Miniboots amp is in the middle, and the SW+40 to the right.
