14 Μαρ 2016 · I already have a Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake (Paid $50 at a swap meet) and a set of headman headers for a b body (also paid $50 at a swap meet). I have a 2k budget for the rest of the build, what do you recommend for Cam, Carb, torque converter etc. I already planned on buying a MSD Ignition kit. looking to get 350 hp and over 400lb/ft torque.
31 Ιουλ 2023 · Heads are arguably the biggest bottle neck and limiting factor to squeezing more power from your engine. Indy 440-1 and TrickFlow 240/270 heads seem to be the "go to" for many, and may be the single biggest costing item. As for camshaft, there are many variables.
11 Σεπ 2012 · Today 440’s are still a powerful force for the Mopar engine builder looking for great drivability and reasonably priced parts. Crate engine HEMIs may be the rage, but building a 440 for street use is a great way to make big reliable torque numbers without really trying.
