3 Μαρ 2020 · I used a Ohio Crankshaft 4.15 stroker kit to my 440, Edelbrock RPM heads (although today I would have used the Trick Flow 240s), Hughes cam and entire valve train (their recommendation), my old six pack set up (a single 4 Bbl would be easier, or FI), Doug's 2" headers, Milodon pan with HV pump and made 450 horse power to the tires.

31 Ιουλ 2023 · 440 source has options to run larger cams than .510" lift with their stealth heads. You need to swap out the valve springs, retainers and keepers. Cool thing is they look just like 906 heads from the outside.
11 Σεπ 2012 · Crate engine HEMIs may be the rage, but building a 440 for street use is a great way to make big reliable torque numbers without really trying. The original 440 block was hot tanked and cleaned, then align bored to make it square.
15 Φεβ 2019 · Went 12.35 at 107 in a 68 Sat with 8.5 440 ,906s, old Torker, 750 dp, Comp 292, 3500ish 10 inch GER converter and 28x9 ET drags. Super low buck combo. A nice 10.5 440 like yours with TFs should be easily in the 11s with 3.23s. Don't be afraid to put some converter in it.
