- Density of Sodium Hydroxide
This is a table of density (kg/L) and the corresponding concentration (% weight) of Potassium Hydroxide in water at a temperature of 20 degrees centigrade. The table was taken from the chemistry and physics handbook.
25 Νοε 2010 · Changes in density of aqueous solutions with changes in concentration at 20°C. Density of potassium salts in water is plotted as function of wt%, mol/kg water and mol/l solution. Be aware of the concentration units in the figures: wt%: Mass of solute/total mass of solution*100% mol/kg: Molality = moles of solute/kg of water.
Estimated values of absolute density (g/cm 3) of aqueous potassium hydroxide solutions {KOH + H 2 O) as function of electrolyte molality m and temperature T (at pressure p = 1 bar). Values in the table are consistent with the density of pure water calculated with the IAPWS-95 equation of state.
Tables show density of chosen water solutions depending on concentration of dissolved substance at 20 °C.
Density data for aqueous solutions over a wider range of temperatures and pressures (and for other compounds) may be found in Reference 2. Solutes are listed in the following order: Wolf, A. V., Aqueous Solutions and Body Fluids, Hoeber, 1966.
Potassium Hydroxide Solution 45 % is produced in a mercury-free membrane cell process. This product complies with Food Directive 2012/231/EC. This information and all further technical advice are based on our present knowledge and experience.
