20 Φεβ 2022 · This means a 45% (w/w) Potassium hydroxide solution contains 45 g of KOH per 100 g of Potassium hydroxide solution. The density of 45% (w/w) Potassium hydroxide solution is 1.456 g/ml at 25°C which means that the weight of the 1 ml of Potassium hydroxide solution is 1.456 g at 25°C.
Just input the density of the solution and the calculator will compute for the corresponding concentration. Or input the concentration to get the corresponding density. Please input only one value and leave the value to be calculated blank.
25 Νοε 2010 · Changes in density of aqueous solutions with changes in concentration at 20°C. Density of potassium salts in water is plotted as function of wt%, mol/kg water and mol/l solution. Be aware of the concentration units in the figures: wt%: Mass of solute/total mass of solution*100% mol/kg: Molality = moles of solute/kg of water.

Estimated values of absolute density (g/cm 3) of aqueous potassium hydroxide solutions {KOH + H 2 O) as function of electrolyte molality m and temperature T (at pressure p = 1 bar). Values in the table are consistent with the density of pure water calculated with the IAPWS-95 equation of state.
4 Φεβ 2023 · Looking to find the equivalent volume (liters) of 45% liquid KOH (11.1 molar strength) - being extracted from a 55 gallon drum. 1 liter of liquid KOH has 11.1 x 56 grams/liter = 621 grams of KOH (1.37 lbs). Adjusting to 90% purity - 1.23 lbs. So the equivalent volume of liquid KOH required would be 42/1.23 = 34 liters of 45% liquid KOH.
Potassium hydroxide weighs 2.044 gram per cubic centimeter or 2 044 kilogram per cubic meter, i.e. density of potassium hydroxide is equal to 2 044 kg/m³; at 20°C (68°F or 293.15K) at standard atmospheric pressure.
