Figuring out how to choose or where to look for child care, preschools or school-age care isn’t easy. Safety, cost, location, operating hours, caregiver skills, educational opportunities and the overall quality of care provided are just some of the considerations.
Providers may charge an hourly, daily, or weekly rate depending on your schedule and their fee structure. 4-C conducts an annual survey to determine average costs of regulated child care. The 4-C data and publications link below reflects the most recent average rates to expect.
Family Child Care Certification Forms. Below is a list of forms referenced and used throughout the certification process. While copies are initially provided by a 4-C Certification Specialist, you may find it helpful to access additional copies below.

Child Care Eligibility Requirements. Eligible families must meet income requirements and not have assets that exceed $1 million. Must be working full time (30 hours or more), attending school full time (12 credits or more), or in job training (at least 20 hours a week)
