ArcGIS geoprocessing tool that makes a service area network analysis layer and sets its analysis properties.
The service area analysis layer is accessed by changing the service area analysis layer properties on the Service Area Layer tab and field values in the Facilities, Lines, Polygons, Point Barriers, Line Barriers, and Polygons Barriers feature classes.
Available with Network Analyst license. Service areas show which roads can be reached within a given distance or drive time. They often show response coverage for emergency vehicles.
