In March 2004, Ryan Wallis (lead vocals/guitar), Zach Hales (lead guitar/vocals), Dan Scheppele (rhythm guitar/vocals), Tim Hales (bass/vocals), and Mike Maney (drums) put together a makeshift band to compete in a local high school talent show.
