25 Ιουλ 2021 · The next day, I took the computer to my office and on my first try in the morning, it gave 5 beeps again. Afterwards, the computer was plugged in for 2 hours but waited in the off position....
18 Ιουν 2022 · Mostly it worked OK in the morning (sometimes on second or thisrd try), but a reboot or boot quick after shutdown almost always failed. I openend the case and removed dust and reseated the memory strip.
I just got a 4080 and put it in my GA Z390D - 5 beeps, but no boot up. Put my old 2080 in and it boots fine. It can't be the monitor connection - it's on and all is well, as it goes fine with the 2080.
26 Ιαν 2021 · Good morning, For the last couple of months I have been getting occassionally 5 short beeps when starting the PC, after that the system seems to restart and then it all works correctly. Other times it boots normally with no beeps nor problems. My specs are: B450M Steel Legend Ryzen 5 3600 GeForce GTX 1660 Super Ram 2x8gb 3000mHz Corsair Vengeance
11 Δεκ 2020 · I have a Gigabyte B460 HD3 motherboard that will produce an audible noise of 5 short beeps upon startup. It will not boot into Windows after the 5 beeps. The monitor is blank. I noticed that the PC beeps only when I have the video card installed. The video card is an Asus GeForce GTX 1050Ti 4GB .
6 Ιουλ 2018 · While the PC is still off, and the power cord is unplugged, press and hold the power (start) button in for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Then replug in the power cord and press start while immediately tapping Esc until the popup menu comes up.
