I just got a 4080 and put it in my GA Z390D - 5 beeps, but no boot up. Put my old 2080 in and it boots fine. It can't be the monitor connection - it's on and all is well, as it goes fine with the 2080.
11 Δεκ 2020 · I have a Gigabyte B460 HD3 motherboard that will produce an audible noise of 5 short beeps upon startup. It will not boot into Windows after the 5 beeps. The monitor is blank. I noticed that the PC beeps only when I have the video card installed. The video card is an Asus GeForce GTX 1050Ti 4GB .

They describe two very similar failure scenarios, with some basic troubleshooting tips: Blank screen and the power LED flashes Red five times, once every second, followed by a two second pause, and the computer beeps five times.
