I just got a 4080 and put it in my GA Z390D - 5 beeps, but no boot up. Put my old 2080 in and it boots fine. It can't be the monitor connection - it's on and all is well, as it goes fine with the 2080.

18 Ιουν 2022 · 5 Beeps indicates a problem with the memory of some kind. See the trouble shooting steps in the troubleshooting guide, Appendix A, page 58 for how to troubleshoot the 5-beep code error. c01516072.pdf (hp.com)
11 Δεκ 2020 · If I install the video card in either of the two PCI-E slots, the PC will beep 5 short times. When I remove the graphics card the PC functions normally and will boot into Windows without further issue.
6 Ιουλ 2018 · Assuming that you might have dislodged the original RAM, try reseating the original RAM in the slots they were in before. While the PC is still off, and the power cord is unplugged, press and hold the power (start) button in for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
11 Ιαν 2016 · I want to ask if there are any better way to get my computer back to normal booting (since back then it took me hours to turn off and on constantly, not good for a computer...). Here is the video I recorded the beeping noises so anyone can listen and help me (the volume might be small, I apologize).
