Ian K. Smith (born July 15, 1969) is an American physician, author and television host best known for hosting The Doctors. In 2007, he launched the 50 Million Pound Challenge, a national weight loss initiative sponsored by CVS Pharmacy and State Farm.
A combination of walking and strength workouts will boost weight loss. During the SilverSneakers Million Pound Challenge, we'll share guided audio walks and strength moves for older adults from fitness expert Michele Stanten, plus gym workouts using dumbbells, balls, and exercise machines.
