28 Ιουν 2009 · The '97 PSD owner's guide supplement says "The WATER IN FUEL light will glow when the fuel filter/water separator has a significant quantity of water, or when the ignition key is switched to the START position (light function check).

8 Νοε 2021 · The 2003-2007 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke featured a horizontal fuel conditioning module (HFCM). When debris in the lower cavity builds up this can cause issues with the sensor reading properly and result in the WIF dash light not turning off.
5 Μαΐ 2011 · Water in Fuel sensor is right next to the drain plug on the HFCM. Don't use brake cleaner, use carb cleaner. You can use the little tube that sticks into spray nozzel.
18 Αυγ 2010 · I have a 2007 F250 with the 6.0 Diesel. Two weeks ago the "Water In Fuel" message appeared. I changed the filters and drained some fuel out as well. I didn't find any water in the fuel. The light still goes on and off. The truck is running fine.
13 Μαΐ 2021 · I have a 97 Ford F-350XL 7.3. The issue as you can see in the title is the water in fuel light coming on. So every time I turn right. Even slightly, the “water in fuel” light comes on. When I straighten the wheel or turn left, goes off. Doesn’t usually happen sitting still.
11 Οκτ 2022 · On my 7.3 there is a tube that ends right above the front end and there is no way of catching the fuel since it drains all over the front end. However you can place a piece of 3/8" hose over the end of the tube and extend it down past the front end to where you can catch it.
