13 Ιουλ 2019 · The 6.5 PRC Gunwerks brass performed really well today. At 0.025" OL I was able to get the 156gr Berger EOL to 3076 fps using RL26 but with a stiff bolt lift at 57.5 gr. By comparison using new Hornady brass with the same bullet and powder at 0.005" OL I saw a stiff bolt lift at 54.5 gr at and 2913 fps.
18 Ιαν 2020 · Bought some ADG brass for my 6.5 PRC from Scheels for a good price,but since they added another $20 bucks for same amount. So I bought some Gunwerks for a few bucks cheaper . Anyone have experience with these two brands ?

19 Νοε 2011 · I could load the gunwerks brass 2grs more H1000 than the ADG brass, and get 75fps. Zero pressure issues with gunwerks. ADG makes good brass, but I get better performance with Gunwerks.
30 Αυγ 2018 · FWIW - Have had good luck with GunWerks brass; it didn't need as much prep as Bertram or Hornady. 6 firings so far, primer pockets and case heads are still good. They had it in stock at a reasonable price when purchased a few months ago...
6 Νοε 2015 · Consistent brass makes accurate ammo without the unexplained flyer. My money's on ADG everytime no matter the caliber if they make it. I have shot factory 6.5 PRC ammo out to 1130 yards out of my PRC next to hand loads running 147s at the same velocity and could tell zero difference on target. Both were well under .5moa with same POI.
30 Αυγ 2018 · Hornady brass is ok but Adg/gunwerks brass is excellent much more consistent. My es and sd were cut in half when i switched.
