  6. 13 Νοε 2015 · My thinking is, that given the swings and roundabouts, the 6.5 x 55 should be capable of safely achieving 2900 to 3000 with 100gn bullets, at least 2800 with 120s and hopefully around 2700 with 140s. All with accuracy and at sensible pressures.

  7. For the options listed above (7mm08, 6.5x55, 308) it all pretty much comes down to a personal preference. Some are slightly better at longer (6/7/8/9 hundy) distances, some have slightly lighter recoil, some have a slightly larger range of projectiles to choose from... Share this post on.
