18 Αυγ 2013 · One tip I discovered is use the breaker bar on the belt tensioner from underneath the truck then slip the new belt on the A/C compressor. Having your back on the creeper (ground) gives you more leverage and more swing room on the breaker bar.
15 Ιουν 2015 · 1. Buy belt ($150) and serpentine belt tool ($25). 2. Find the belt routing diagram in your engine supplement (should be included with your vehicle manuals). 3. Remove the air box so you can access the belt 4. Disconnect the fan sensor and unbolt it's mount (see video below) 5. Route new belt (see video link below for helpful hints).
10 Μαρ 2019 · At 117,000 fairly easy miles, it is about time to change the serpentine belt. I've looked at some generally useless You Tube videos and have done a search here with little real information beyond a good belt routing drawing.
2 Οκτ 2018 · After searching the forums, and on google, I haven't found any information on how to replace the serpentine belt on a 6.7. I can barely get my hand on the idler pulley and don't feel any cutouts for a 1/2 inch socket.
