Learn how to convert lumens to watts for LED bulbs and find the equivalent brightness of incandescent and halogen bulbs. Use the chart to select the right LED bulb for your lighting needs.
13 Ιουλ 2022 · Use this chart to determine how many lumens you’ll need from your next light bulb. For example, if you typically purchase 60W incandescent bulbs, which produce about 700-800 lumens, consider purchasing a lower energy alternative like a 42W halogen bulb, 12W CFL, or even a 10W LED bulb to achieve the same brightness.
Equivalent wattage is a term used to describe the brightness of an LED bulb in comparison with incandescent lamps. For example, when you see the phrase “60W equivalent” on an LED light bulb, it doesn’t mean it consumes 60W. Instead, it means the bulb produces as many lumens as a 60W incandescent, which is 800 lumens.
23 Οκτ 2024 · For example, a traditional 60-watt incandescent bulb produces around 800 lumens, but an LED bulb can produce the same 800 lumens using only 9-12 watts! That’s a huge energy savings. (Source: Energy Star – LED Lighting)
For an LED bulb, producing 1,300 lumens will require around 15 watts of power. However, for a less-efficient halogen bulb, over 60 watts of power are likely to be required to produce the same brightness.
4 Σεπ 2022 · A 60-watt LED equivalent is 7-9 watts. A 100-watt incandescent bulb produces 1600 lumens of light, while a 12-14 watt LED gives off the same. A 150-watt incandescent bulb produces 2600 lumens of light, while an 18-23 watt LED gives off the equivalent.
22 Ιουλ 2019 · Flood Light - 30 Watts - 150 Watts Equivalent - 3900 Lumen DLC Listed Watts. Watts measure energy consumption. When we pay our electric bill, we pay for the number of watts we use. A 60-watt bulb consumes 60 watts of energy, but the lumen output depends on the type of bulb. Voltage. Voltage measures the output of electrical current. The higher ...
