27 Σεπ 2011 · I had the new top installed on my ’65 a month ago. After sitting for a few weeks I’m beginning to see the outline of the pads and some issues with the #4 bow visible through the top. I reused the original factory pads that were on the car in an attempt to keep it as original as possible.

20 Νοε 2010 · Can anyone offer a link to a good online step-by-step for replacing the top on a '65 Mustang convertible (preferably with lots of details and photos)? I have the 2000 Mustang Monthly how-to article on top replacement, but find it brief, vague, and with badly-written photo captions.

1 Απρ 2020 · My ‘65 came with a stained and torn old top installed but it didn’t have the pads that run longitudinally on each side. That probably helps explain why the top was torn. On some cars I’ve done these pads are stapled in to the second and third top bows, in addition to the front and rear bows.
