I may or may not be ahead of the game. the truck has the original 352 in it. however I purchased a 390 out of a 72 ford f-250 I believe. the engine came complete with air conditioner pump and power steering pump, pulleys and brackets.

30 Ιουλ 2003 · 66 f100 4x4 power steering upgrade? A steeering box out of a late 70's to mid eighties large bronco will work. I had bought one to do a conversion for my 66 f100 4x4. The only problem I could tell was an interference with the core support/ inner fender up in the front. It was not much but enough to require some cutting which I did not want to do.
19 Νοε 2018 · I recently bought a 66 F100 2WD. I am having to install a new PS gear box. Someone put a 351 modified engine in it. When removing the old PS gear box (not original) it was extremely snug. The replacement gear that I picked up is identical, but slightly wider on the top of the box (I was told I can't get the thinner one anymore???).
