13 Ιαν 2020 · There are only 2 firing orders for the SBF- 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 (early 289/302) and 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 (5.0 and 351W). The firing order is determined by the camshaft. If you put a 5.0 or 351W cam in a 289 you have to change the plug wires in the cap to match the firing order.

4 Μαρ 2003 · I am rebuilding a 65 289 and want to add dual exhausts. I plan an autolite 4100 1.08 with a ford racing cam and ford racing intake with headman headers 88300 with 3 inch collectors. I am running a C4 with 3.25 eight inch limited slip rear. What size dual exhaust should I add? I figured that 2.25 would be more than enough. Maybe even 2 inch is okay.
