5 Ιουν 2006 · For the hood pins, install in their intended location then crank them down so the hood just touches them. Light pressure on the hood with your had will make an impression on the underside. Toss the latch, with pins it's not needed.
13 Ιουν 2006 · Ok folks, part two on questions on installing a 427 Ram Air hood on my ’66 Fairlane. See the pictures; I have attached the hood loosely onto the hinges. Crites pre-drilled and tapped the hood mounting holes. I am maneuvering it around to get the best alignment.

4 Ιουν 2013 · When I ran a 514 in my 67 there was no way that the engine was going to fit under the 427 hood that I had on the car originally. I had another hood made from a flat 66-67 fiberglass hood and a Harwood 6 inch Camaro cowl scoop.
15 Φεβ 2008 · Their 427 66 fairlane hood weights in at a hefty 32 pounds. They may be able to custom order you a lighter version but my past experience tells me you could not be in a hurry. I too would like a lighter version.
