15 Μαΐ 2023 · With just three episodes left, Ted Lasso's season 3 is a total mess with disjointed writing, an uneven tone, and far too many inconsequential plot threads.
As a big fan of the first two seasons of Ted Lasso, I was excited to dive into the third season and see what new adventures the lovable characters would embark on. However, after watching the first two episodes, I found myself feeling deeply disappointed by the show's direction.
Ted Lasso did not end as a defeated man… his story is still going on. His anxiety and depression came from having lost his father at a young age and having a loving but avoidant mother. These feelings only sprang into action when his wife started distancing herself from him (familiar to losing and avoidant behavior exhibited in his childhood).
