8u Coach Pitch Rules. COACH PITCH Rules: 1. PLAYING FIELD AND EQUIPMENT. 1.1 Bases: The bases are set 60 feet apart. 1.2 Pitcher’s Mound: The pitching mound shall be in the center of the infield 40 feet from home plate. 1.3 Bat: There is no restriction on bat diameter or length-weight differential.

Coach pitch only: The player pitcher must have at least one foot in the pitcher’s circle when the batter’s coach is pitching. No other defensive players may be positioned inside the pitcher’s circle at the same time.
8U COACH PITCH RULES. (6 innings or 1 hour 15 minute time limit – finish the inning) Age Limit: Players must be 8 or under as of April 30, 2023. Please have birth certificates available, if requested. RUN RULES: 10 runs after 5 innings. Base Distance = 60' . Maximum of 5 runs scored per half inning. Sixth (6th) inning = unlimited runs.
