11 Φεβ 2022 · Your Pioneer Plasma TV blinking blue light 8 times mainly because of a faulty voltage regulator chip, a brief power outage, communication problems between the chips, and the TV’s protection mode being on.
5 Ιουν 2014 · This TV will intermittently power on, when it fails to power on it will flash the blue power light 8 times. When it powers on it works perfectly. The fix is to replace a 1.8V regulator on the SCART A/V board, or to replace the entire A/V board assembly.
4 Νοε 2013 · 8 blue blinks indicates a problem communicating between chips via an I2C (TwoWire) buss which is a common microcontroller buss for control and data. The 8 blue blinks are augmented by orange blinks seen when you press the Display button. The orange blinks tell you which components are not communicating.
4 Ιαν 2002 · I too have had the the dreaded 8 flashing blue light on my KRP 500A. I tried contacting the the Kuro King via their web site and have no reply. I then decided to replace one of the voltage regulator myself.
8 Μαρ 2018 · Apparently, when the blue power light blinks eight times, that indicates one of several fault conditions. The most common cause seems to be a faulty voltage-regulator IC (integrated circuit) on the I/O (input/output) circuit board.
9 Μαρ 2022 · This is completely random, but sometimes I try turning my tv on and I get no response for almost a minute before my Red standby light turns Blue and flashes in 9 count intervals. This sometimes happens when I go to turn tv off after using it for a good amount of time.
