The M25 goes over or under 234 bridges, one of which is the iconic Dartford-Thurrock River Crossing. You’ll need to pay the Dart Charge to cross the River Thames. The crossing uses automatic number plate recognition to record each car as you drive across.

Congestion is leading back to junction 3 at the M20 Swanely Interchange and on the A2 back to the Northfleet turn-off. Travel time is estimated at 90 minutes. 19 Ιουλ 2024 · Severe delays due to earlier broken down vehicle on M25 Dartford Tunnel anticlockwise from J1A A206 (Dartford) to J31 A1306 (Lakeside / Purfleet). Congestion to before J3 (M20 Swanley interchange). Travel time is around 60 minutes.
15 Μαΐ 2023 · There are delays of 22 minutes on the M25 anticlockwise between Junction 3 Swanley Interchange and the A282 Canterbury Way / Dartford Crossing, according to the AA live traffic map. Delays are reportedly easing.
3 Ιαν 2023 · Traffic reports of a broken down lorry on the M25 Clockwise came in at around 10.15 am. The vehicle broke down on the QE2 Bridge from J31 A1306 to J1A A206 (Dartford). Two lanes are closed as the lorry was being recovered. Traffic was held for five minutes at 10.55 am as the lorry was being removed.
