Introduced as the flagship Port Charlotte expression produced by Bruichladdich in 2018, this 10 year old single malt from the Isle of Islay is a lip-smackingly smoky number indeed. It's peated to 40ppm, and drawn from a combination of first-fill American whiskey casks, second-fill American whiskey casks and second-fill French wine casks.

Our Port Charlotte single malts are peated to a heavyweight 40PPM. Trickle distilled through our tall, narrow necked stills, the resulting rich and aromatic spirit has all the power of peat with the elegance and finesse for which our stills are famous.
17 Φεβ 2022 · Whilst there is no comment about the casks being used, we know that this single malt scotch whisky is “Distilled, matured, and bottled non-chill filtered and colouring free at Bruichladdich distillery, Isle of Islay” at a hearty 50% ABV and presented in a very sturdy 70cl green glass bottle.
