The good news is that the game is so quick, it's not a huge bummer to discover your warband wasn't really meant for a certain objective or terrain layout. The two biggest negatives many people seem to have are 1. It's not mordheim or 2. It's too random. For issue 1, well, no one said it was.

I've gotten into Warcry, as my nephew wanted to get into AoS and Warcry was a good entry game while building up our armies for AoS. Haven't played competitive or multiplayer myself. So with my perspective: Yes. The base rules are rather easy, and gameplay is rather snappy and quickly learned with the alternating activations.

If you are familiar with Kill Team for Warhammer 40k, you will see quite some similarities. The standard game is a two-player game, but rules exist for team games and big free-for-all battles.
Including the darkoath savages and the tarantulous brood, I want to know what is the best warband in the actual game warcry.
