25 Μαΐ 2020 · Abstract. Background: The optimal neoadjuvant treatment for HER2-positive breast cancer is unknown. We wanted to compare the efficacy and safety of the anthracycline regimen EC-TH versus nonanthracycline regimen TCH in neoadjuvant setting for HER2-positive breast cancer.
AC chemotherapy can be used to treat primary breast cancer – breast cancer that hasn’t spread beyond the breast or the lymph nodes under the arm. Sometimes it’s used in combination with other anti-cancer drugs.

Conclusions TCH neoadjuvant chemotherapy was feasible and active in HER2-overexpressing breast cancer patients in terms of the pathological complete response, complete response, and partial response rates and manageable toxicities.
