31 Αυγ 2015 · AC (Adriamycin and cyclophosphamide) is a common chemotherapy regimen usually given for localized breast cancers. AC is a combination of two chemotherapy medicines: Doxorubicin is a type of chemotherapy medicine called an anthracycline. Cyclophosphamide is a type of chemotherapy medicine called an alkylating agent.
Treatment overview. This treatment regimen consists of two parts: 4 cycles of AC, followed by 4 cycles of TH and 13 cycles of trastuzumab. Breast neoadjuvant/adjuvant AC (DOXOrubicin and CYCLOPHOSPHamide) three weekly. Breast adjuvant TH (DOCEtaxel and trastuzumab) three weekly.
