Prophylactic G-CSF may be used to mitigate the risk of haematological toxicities. Patients should have an increased fluid intake of 2-3 litres on day 1 to prevent haemorrhagic cystitis associated with cyclophosphamide. Myalgias and arthralgias may occur with PACLitaxel. Analgesic cover should be considered.
TREATMENT: 4 consecutive cycles of DOXOrubicin and cyclophosphamide. *reduce filgrastim treatment duration if ANC greater than 10 or intolerable bone pain.
